WP5 Milestone Achieved: INAiR Releases Multilingual Open Educational Resources to Boost AI Readiness in Retail

The EU-funded INAIR – Increasing the Uptake of AI Technologies in Retail project announces a major milestone in Work Package 5 (WP5): the completion of the development and validation of its Open Educational Resources (OERs) — a comprehensive set of multilingual, interactive learning materials designed to help European micro, small, and medium-sized retail enterprises adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their daily operations.

Developed from the project’s AI Core Curriculum, the OERs translate high-level learning objectives into practical, engaging, and modular training content, including real-world case studies, simulations, reflection activities, interactive quizzes, and knowledge checks

The OERs:

  • consist of 16 modulesorganised into Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels,
  • are available in English, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, and Romanian
  • support independent learning and trainer-led delivery, making them suitable both for retailers and Continuing Vocational Training providers

“Together, the sixteen OERs constitute a coherent set of open, modular learning resources supporting AI literacy, ethical awareness, digital mindset development, and sustainable AI-powered innovation.”

The INAIR Project Consortium

The INAiR project brings together the expertise of six partner organisations:

  • The Italian Innovative SME Lascò, project coordinator;
  • The Digital Economy Lab of the University of Warsaw;
  • The Romanian non-profit organisation Asociatia TEAM 4 Excellence;
  • The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany (ITKAM);
  • The Italian Design Studio BSD;
  • The Software Engineering Lab of the University of Cyprus.
